Covirgent Medicals ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who interact with our website and clinical decision-support platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information in connection with our services.

We may collect the following categories of information:
• Contact information provided when you request a demo or contact us (name, email, institution). • Usage data collected automatically when you visit our website (browser type, pages visited, time spent). • Technical information such as IP address, device type and operating system. • For clinical platform users: account information (name, email, role) and clinical information entered by the treating physician (anamnesis, diagnoses, laboratory results, attachments). Access is restricted to the assigned physician and the patient. • Google Calendar event data, if a physician connects the calendar integration — used solely to display appointments inside Covirgent.
We use the information we collect to:
• Respond to enquiries and provide requested information. • Operate and improve the Covirgent platform and website. • Provide the clinical decision-support service and the physician AI assistant. • Display the physician's schedule (calendar integration). • Bill subscription usage (aggregate token counts, not message content). • Comply with applicable legal obligations.
When a physician grants access, Covirgent receives an OAuth token limited to the scopes calendar.events and calendar.readonly. Tokens are stored in our database, are used only to sync the physician's own calendar into Covirgent, and are revoked immediately when the physician disconnects the integration.
Covirgent's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Data is transmitted over TLS and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. Medical data access is restricted to the assigned physician and the patient.
We retain information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law. Account and medical data are retained while the account is active. A physician or patient may request deletion by contacting us; medical records are deleted within 30 days of a verified request, unless retention is required by applicable healthcare regulations.
We may engage third-party service providers to support our operations (e.g. hosting, LLM inference providers). These providers are contractually required to process data only as instructed and to maintain appropriate security measures. We do not sell personal or medical data, and we do not use patient medical data to train AI models.
